PJ the Pigeon
PJ was a juvenile pigeon found weak and limping on the sidewalk near the Irving Park train stop. He had a sore wing and appeared to have fallen from his nest too soon, injuring himself when he landed.
We picked PJ up, gave him food and water, and then transferred him to Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue for rehabilitation, with the goal of returning him to the wild when he is ready.
